In the context of the public consultation on a European Catalogue of Standards for ICT Procurement, OpenForum Europe contributed to the discussion and proposed that any EU Catalogue should be based on the following ‘Eight Principles’ in order to promote an open and competitive market in ICT that allows for innovations to be speedily adopted in Europe.
