On 12 February 2015, a coalition of several trade associations and advocacy organisations, including OFE, made public a joint statement welcoming the EP draft report on the EU Copyright system. Together with Digital Europe, EDIMA, Bitkom and CCIA, the coalition concluded that the report was a ”good first step” in the upcoming revision of EU copyright rules.
