OpenForum Europe will be continuing to develop the thinking emerging from the panel discussions, and will be publishing further conclusions at a later date. We very much welcome all the comments made at the Summit and would like to invite you to give any further comments or ideas you might have, particularly around our two focus areas:

• The Internet – Built on Openness

  What is the impact of cloud computing and what new issues will it raise? What is the role of the web browser – what will happen in the future? Are today's regulations sufficient for the new world?

• Openness for Increased Choice and Competition

  What is the economic basis for openness?How do Open Standards encourage innovation as we look forward to 2020? How can SMEs thrive? Public procurement turns policy into practice. What are governments doing, what should they be doing?
